Project Location(s): Work location is Shrewsbury, MA with required travel to client locations throughout the USA.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer information systems, information technology, or a closely related field, or a combination of education and experience equating to the U.S. equivalent of a Bachelor’s degree in one of the aforementioned subjects.
Responsibilities
- Design and create high-impact data visualization applications to make data actionable and facilitate decision making for the internal clients
- Participate in all levels of the development lifecycle, including direct internal client interaction. Collaborate and work in an agile team environment
- Consult with internal clients and team members on technical design approaches
- Assist with data transformation, the creation of QVD files and set analysis; data integration through extracting, transforming and loading (ETL) data from various sources
- Elicit and document data requirements and specifications from functional and technical subject matter experts and system owners. Translate data requirements into a best fit within the application, and develop processes and documentation that support data
- Develop and maintain standard design documents, test plans, test scripts, business process workflows, data requirements documents, and use cases
- Work with various users to assist in the creation of reports and meaningful data analysis for end users. Prototype reports and dashboards to get users engaged and excited about BI & Analytics solutions
- Develop a strong understanding of the business and its’ systems to support the internal customer’s strategic objectives
